Metal_Mesh_Metalmalla

Recently, a client contacted us seeking a solution to a need his company had encountered. They require to install 3,000 levels for a logistics center that stores flammable chemical products, capable of supporting pallets weighing up to 1,500 kilograms.

Up to this point, everything seemed normal, but the challenge lied in the fact that the shelves needed to be made of sheet metal to comply with the safety regulations outlined in the Chemical Product Storage Regulations.

When storing hazardous substances, pollutants, or flammable liquids, the shelves must be adapted so that in the event of a liquid spill, the structure supporting the load does not deteriorate.

The fire safety plan demanded that each level had to be isolated, allowing the sprinkler system to act solely on the affected level in case of a fire, preventing its spread to the lower and upper levels.

What solution did we offer?

Within our range of rack meshes, we have a model capable of meeting these requirements, serving as a loading shelf while also acting as a firewall.

Subsequently, after developing the product, we manufactured prototypes for both the client and the insurance company to assess and verify their compliance with the technical requirements.

Once the product was approved, we proceeded with the production of the rack meshes that will be part of the installation.

Our team is always ready to develop new product typologies to adapt the meshes to any required regulations.

If you have a specific need, please contact us, and we will provide you with the solution you require.
