Recently, a client contacted us seeking a solution to a need his company had encountered. They require to install 3,000 levels for a logistics center that stores flammable chemical products, capable of supporting pallets weighing up to 1,500 kilograms.

Up to this point, everything seemed normal, but the challenge lied in the fact that the shelves needed to be made of sheet metal to comply with the safety regulations outlined in the Chemical Product Storage Regulations.

When storing hazardous substances, pollutants, or flammable liquids, the shelves must be adapted so that in the event of a liquid spill, the structure supporting the load does not deteriorate.

The fire safety plan demanded that each level had to be isolated, allowing the sprinkler system to act solely on the affected level in case of a fire, preventing its spread to the lower and upper levels.
